This consists of disbound pages from an unidentified book, bound in a paper cover (probably by the Friends' Temperance Union, whose stamp appears on one page). The page numbers run 41-48 and then 33-40, indicating that the disbound pages have been rearranged to reverse the order of the two stories.
A further short item entitled Bad habits have strong roots appears on pp. 47-48 between the two stories.
Faye Huntington, Dr Lynn's first case, pp. 41-47
