– alternative version of this slidecreator of source image(s): PROUT, Samuel (1783-1852)
same image as unnumbered slide from [RAMM Collection: paintings mainly from the Veitch Bequest] (miscellaneous: Royal Albert Memorial Museum, at least 41 slides, c.1926)
The slide shows Prout's painting A canal, Utrecht. This was part of the Veitch bequest to the RAMM in 1924 (accession number 62/1924/145). It is (wrongly) identified in the 1926 RAMM catalogue as 'A canal, Nuremberg', but has since been retitled.
