The number on the illustrated example of this slide is unclear, but logically it would belong with the other 'Rotorua or Thermal District' sequence between Slides 17 and 43. The slide is marked 'Extra' on its top edge.

The 'Steam Hammer' referred to is a geothermal phenomenon experienced at a particular lake in the Wairakei valley.
