“The negatives and Lecture Notes have been kindly supplied by the Rev. G.W. Saunders. Notable features of this set are the legendary history, the coming of missionaries to the “birthplace of British Christianity, and the rebuilding of the Abbey. Slides of the plans and restorations have been reproduced from plates in the two books on Glastonbury Abbey, by F. Bligh Bond, and The Gate of Remembrance, by Bligh Bond, Blackwell, Oxford.”
