“A series of copyright photographs from some exquisite and delivate wood carvings in St Catherine's Church, Horsefair, Birmingham. They are the work of the eminent Swiss wood carvers Ferdin and Demetz, and are acknowledged to be the finest figure studies carved entirely in wood in England.

These form in themselves a unique set of slides illustrating the Life of Christ.”
