Messrs. Newton & Co. are glad to announce the publication of an entirely new and original senes of Slides illustrating the History of Music.

The whole collection, when complete, will comprise several hundred Slides, illustrating the general History of Music in Europe from the times of the minstrels to the present day, with numerous subsidiary sections dealing with the evolution of the Organ, the Pianoforte, the stringed and wind instruments, the History of Notation, etc. Some sixty to eighty subjects are now ready, and a detailed list will be sent on application.”
