Slide set: The great Delhi Durbar, 1911 (lecture: Newton & Co., 60 slides, 1911-1913)
“Messrs Newton & Co. were fortunate enough to secure at considerable cost the Lantern Slide rights of the finest of the photographs taken at the Delhi Durbar.
This series comprises a number of photographs by Mr Ernest Brooks, the private photographer who accompanied their Majesties on the 'Medina' and throughout the tour; some of them being taken by special desire of the Queen.
The Lecture includes all the Slides numbered from 1 to 60, but not those on the next page which have an A or B attached to them; these are additional Slides, which can be used or not as desired, the Lecture Set being complete without them.”
