“The slides in this series have all been Photographed direct from microscopic specimens (not from drawings), which have been specially prepared and selected by John J. Pilley, LL.D., F.R.M.S., Lecturer on Physiology at Charterhouse School of Science, London, and Alleyn's School, College of God's Gift, Dulwich. The degree of magnification ranges from 7 to over 500 diameters, dependent upon the structure to be shown. They will prove of the highest value for demonstration and lecture purposes.”
