Catalogue of lantern slides for hire (London: Newton & Co., 1940s), 24

“This Lecture commences with the comparative strength of the competing navies on the outbreak of war, is illustrated with pictures of the engagements between British and German ships and submarines, of the German raids on coast towns, and of the attempts to force the Dardanelles. Its 50 Slides cover, however, only the earlier part of the war—the later sea fights are not described in the following Lecture.”
