The great success of the Passion Play Lantern Slides has suggested the idea of a somewhat similar set of slides on the early life of Our Lord, and the scheme has been carried out with such success that a series of pictures of unique excellence has resulted.

The slides are by far the finest that have ever been produced on this subject, being most reverent in conception, accurate in detail, and technically perfect in execution. No expense has been spared to make these pictures as worthy as possible of the subject, and we are thoroughly satisfied with the result. But the cost has been so considerable that it has been found necessary to charge a special price for the loan of this set.

Arrangements have therefore been made to let this set on hire at the following prices. The charge will be 10/6 per night for the plain (uncoloured) set, and 21/- for the best painted set.

A Special Service Book (including hymns and prayers) has been published for use with these slides, price 9d.

We regret that any difficulties should be put in the way of would-be purchasers of this most beautiful series of slides, but in order to carry out the agreement made with the owners of the copyright, we are obliged to ask every purchaser to sign a binding agreement not 'to sell, lend, let on hire, give away, or otherwise dispose of' these slides, and not to paint them or allow them to be painted except by the makers, who can only supply sets to those willing to sign and abide by this agreement, a copy of which will be sent on application.”
