“Mr Jones one day decides that the fence between Mr Brown's garden and his own would be improved by a coat of tar, so commences operations. It happened, however, the same day, Mr Brown determined to whitewash his side. While Mr Jones is at work he is surprised at seeing whitewash coming through. He rashly determines to go over his neighbour's side, but meets Mr Brown coming over to see where the tar is coming from that is blackening his side. Mr Brown throws his whitewash at Mr Jones, while the latter replies with his tar pot.”
