People involved in slide production

DIXON, C.S.  (1866-1938) – creator of source image(s), all 14 slides

Notes

Dixon is credited in the Newton 1912 catalogue as the designer of the slides, but they are also described as 'best quality hand-painted slides' and their price reflects this. Presumably the slides were painted individually to order, based on Dixon's drawings.
