Notes

This set appears in Pumphrey's catalogue for 1872-73, and as such must be one of the earliest British life model sets, though the illustrated examples may have been produced later.

The compositions of the photographs are based on Busch's drawings Diogenes und die bösen Buben von Corinth of 1862.
