Notes

The Riley 1905 catalogue shows this as by their maker 'A' (i.e. Riley themselves), but it appears in the Theobald catalogue among sets by Walter Tyler. However in the Riley catalogue it precedes a short group of sets by Tyler, so the 'A' attribution is probably an error.

Equally there could be two different sets, possibly from the same image source, as the subjects are just portraits of monarchs and others in chronological order.

The 1892 Riley catalogue gives the title of Slide 40 as 'Prince Albert', while in the 1909 Tyler catalogue this slide is 'Edward VII'.
