The numbering of the slides illustrated here is as found on the slides themselves; otherwise the numbers are generally those listed in the 1905 Riley catalogue.
There are some differences between these two sets of numbers, so the Riley numbers may be their own (though the sequence is very discontinuous) or may indicate that the set was rearranged at some point.
In some cases (slides numbered here from [501] upwards) the slide is only known from the list in the Medland catalogue, and its position in the main England set is not yet known.
