Notes

The slides show staged tableaux from a stage production of Hamlet, probably that at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane, London, in 1913, which was also the basis of a cinematograph film produced by the Hepworth company.

The production featured Johnston Forbes-Robertson as Hamlet, Gertrude Elliott as Ophelia, J.H. Barnes as Polonius, and (probably) Alex Scott-Gatty as Laertes.
