These are identified as a set on the basis of similar locations (where identified) and similar styles of mounting and labelling. Several of the slides have labels from Flatters & Garnett of Manchester, but these probably indicate that they processed the slides to order for a private individual, rather than publishing the slides themselves as a commercial set.
They are possibly the work of someone connected with one of the local churches, as several show outings and celebrations. The identified locations are all within a very small area of residential streets, none of which now survive.
