The Royal Geographical Society index card states:

'33 slides (including 10 panoramas) made to illustrate a paper by D. Carruthers on 'Explorations in Central Asia', read 25th March 1912'.

This collection originally comprised 70 slides - 21 destroyed/faded, 25th January 1951.

Most of the surviving slides are numbered within the original sequence of 70, but six are unnumbered and are listed here at the end of the set, arbitrarily placed in positions [71]-[76].
