Notes

Many of the slides have a handwritten note on the mount that they were 'reduced and rebound' from originals by 'H.S.' – slide [20] expands this name as 'H. Stocks'.

A few slides similarly refer to being made by 'R.T.M.' and two have a small printed label 'W.J. Lucas' stuck onto the mount.
