This set appears to have been added to incrementally over a period of several decades. Some of the images refer to specific dated events.
The 1899 Newton catalogue lists 55 slides numbered 34-88. The 1909 edition adds a further ten slides: 49A, 52A, 54A, 54B, 54C, 65A, 65B, 67A, 89 and 90 (89 is dated 1903). The 1913 edition adds slides 92-122 (slide 91 is missing), of which 117-122 are dated in Autumn 1909 and 92-93 are dated January 1910.
