BOLDERSTON, Dr W.N., M.A. (1884-1968) – photographer, all 44 slides
The photographer is identified as Bolderston from a label with his name on Slide [29], which may indicate that the slide was entered in a competition or exhibition. All the slides have handwritten labels in the same hand, with the title appearing on the top edge of the slide.
The slides appear to be photographs taken from life, not reproductions of previously published images, and were probably taken during a single tour of Italy. They must be later than 1918, as the hand-drawn map of Italy shows 'Jugo-Slavia' as a neighbouring country.
