The Westminster Gazette was a daily newspaper published in London between 1893 and 1928, of a Liberal political standpoint. The cartoons in the illustrated slides are all by F.C. Gould, and it is possible that the whole set was based on the work of this prolific artist. The image subjects relate to politicians and political events of the early 20th century.
