Notes
This set (if it was actually published as such) was probably larger, but no other details of its production have yet been found. The slides are unnumbered and have no labels or other distinguishing marks.
The cartoons were published as the centre spread of the weekly political magazine The St Stephen's Review, published in London between 1883 and 1892. Those identified from the slides shown here are all from 1886, and deal with the political crisis over Irish independence. Most of the caricatures show British and Irish politicians.
