‘China and the Chinese’ in several compilations

The Indispensable handbook credits this set to Pumphrey, and the inclusion of the reading in their 1873 compilation would support this. However the Riley slide catalogue attributes this set to 'Maker E', i.e. Wrench & Son, and its location in the Medland and Band of Hope catalogues would suggest this is correct.
There may have been two versions of the set taken from the same image source.
