Notes

The earliest date is based on an advertisement seen on the bus in Slide 8, which refers to the play The thunderbolt by Arthur Wing Pinero, which opened at St James's Theatre, London on 9 May 1908.

The railway posters in Slide 6, and the details of the bus in Slide 8, suggest that the exterior locations are in north London.

The slide titles are taken from the J.W. Butcher catalogue and may be slightly different from the manufacturer's titles. The slides themselves carry no titles.
