Riley Brothers, England
in stock of Riley Brothers, 1911-1914 (item ref. 1730)
see also The Coronation of King George V (lecture: Newton & Co., 58 slides, 1911)
see generic title The Coronation of King George V (generic set title – 3 different versions are known)
EDWARD VIII, King (1894-1972) – slide 9
GEORGE V, King (1865-1936) – slides 4-9, 11-12, 14-15, 17, 20
MARY, Queen (1867-1953) – slides 8, 10-11, 14-15, 17, 20
The Riley 1911 catalogue supplement attributes this set to their maker's code 'ZY', which in other places is applied to sets by Graystone Bird. However the slide titles suggest a compilation of slides from different sources (possibly official photographs, or drawings reproduced from news magazines), and this set seems unlikely to be by Bird.
Slide 20 is credited in the Riley catalogue as 'Photo by Downey, 1/6 uncoloured', so was almost certainly an official court photograph.
20 slides known to exist in private collection
