Notes

The full title of this set is The progress of Mr Lambkin (gentleman) in the pursuit of pleasure and amusement, and also in search of health and happiness. Cruikshank's drawings originally appeared (as The bachelor's own book) in 1865, but a new edition was published in 1883, which may suggest a date for this set.
