Next day he resolves to have a bicycle himself

He trots out his new machine on a lonely road

After running some time beside the machine he makes a leap

But suddenly comes to grief

He takes a rest and rubs his aching limbs

The J.W. Butcher catalogue uses the title Adventures of a cyclist, and this title appears on labels on the illustrated examples of the slides, but the Bamforth catalogue and their reading use An adventure with a bicycle.
