This set was added to over several years - the 1890 GWW advertisement is for 43 slides; the 1891 UKBHU catalogue lists 43 slides with 12 later additions; some later references are to 61 slides.
Slides 56-64 are assumed to belong to this set as they appear in the related set Portraits from life (Lucerna ID 3013189) in the 1898 Wrench catalogue, so must have been added to the GWW set before that date.
The 1901 Peter Feathers catalogue lists 24 slides numbered 1-24 and drawn more or less randomly from the full set.
