This set was probably added to gradually over several years - the Riley 1905 catalogue (reflecting their stock holding c.1889) lists 36 slides taken from the first 65 in the later longer list; the 1890 GWW advertisement mentions 80; the 1891 UKBHU catalogue lists 80 slides with 4 later additions; the 1898 Wrench catalogue and some later references list 100 slides.
The 1901 Peter Feathers catalogue only lists 24 slides, numbered 1-24 and drawn more or less randomly from the full set, including a few slide titles not yet identified from the GWW lists.
