WARNEFORD, Sub-Lieutenant Reginald, V.C. (1891-1915) – slide 74
Reginald Warneford (not Warnsford, as in the slide title), shown in Slide 74, was awarded the Victoria Cross for an action on 7 June 1915, but was killed ten days later in a flying accident.
The service at St Paul's Cathedral shown in Slide 80 was held to mark the first anniversary of the start of the First World War.
