“This Series of Slides is from Direct Negatives recently made in Lloyd's great Paper Mills, and shows the most recent machinery in action.

N.B. -- While the Photographs Nos. 9-15 were being taken the Machine, which is 150 feet long, was winding paper at the rate of 500 feet per minute. The size of the paper is 142 inches wide and 5 miles in length, and the weight of the finished reel is 50 cwt.”
