This Series has been arranged under the inspection of the British Bee-keepers' Association, and with the courteous and able assistance of T.W. Cowan, Esq., F.G.S., F.L.S., F.R.M.S., etc., and W. Broughton Carr, Esq., Editors of the British Bee Journal.

All the slides (which are very beautiful) are from direct photographs, principally taken at Mr Broughton Carr's apiary by Mr T.E. Freshwater, F.R.M.S., except Nos. 34, 35, 36, 37, 42, 43, 45, 46 and 47, which are reproduced from the diagrams published by the Association.
