Lantern addresses for children

General description of this series
Notes

A series of illustrated sermons aimed at children, produced by Riley Brothers between 1912 and (at least) 1915. Each item consists of a set of 18 slides with an accompanying text pamphlet. The images are probably selected from a wide range of existing sources, compiled together into sets to fit an existing sermon theme.

The sets were issued in batches: 5 in 1912, 6 in 1913, 6 in 1914 and 4 in (probably) 1915. The first year's output is attributed in Riley's catalogue to their maker code 'P', while the other two years are attributed to maker 'A', i.e. Riley themselves. The batch for 1915 have not been found in a catalogue reference, but are known (with their series numbers assumed) from their accompanying reading compilation.
