A series of photographic slide sets, produced each Saturday from January 1909 until the end of 1910, showing British news events. Produced by Walter Tyler Ltd in 1909-1910. The sets were aimed at the cinema business, available for sale or hire, and advertised in trade papers such as Kinematograph and Lantern Weekly.
Most sets contained at least 20 slides, but it is not known whether this number was constant or changed from set to set depending on the supply of newsworthy images.
Many of the images are credited to the Topical Press Agency of London, and some to the Sport and General Agency.
