Short biography

Born in Saint-Hippolyte-du-Fort, died in Alès. Félix joined General d'Hautpoul's expedition to the Levant in 1860. Soon after returning from Lebanon he became a photographer. Moved to Beirut in 1867 where he opened a photographic studio called 'Maison Bonfils'.
