Notes

The reference to his activity as a lantern operator only mentions 'Mr Cannicott', but this is the only likely candidate of that surname found resident in Exeter in the 1911 Census. His printing business (Burridge and Cannicott) also undertook work for the Royal Albert Memorial College, including the handbills for the lecture series where he acted as lanternist.
