Dr Ottilie Rady was an art historian and taught at the department of architecture at the TH Darmstadt between 1932 and 1937. In 1934 she was promoted to special professor.
After she lost her job due to political reasons, she worked as cataloger for Verlag Dr Franz Stoedtner. Her task there was to inventory and catalog lantern slides for education in art history. She was married to Franz Stoedtner from 1942 until his death in 1946, and ran the Stoedtner slide business until it was sold in 1959.
