John P. Cheyne, ‘Arctic regions’ in Descriptive readings and lectures 1

There are some records of him giving lantern lectures in North America, e.g. in December 1881 in the Visions of the North blog, and he seems to disappear from British genealogical records after the 1881 Census; possibly he emigrated in that year.
