Étienne-Noël Mollier was born in 1876 and died in 1962. When he came to Paris in 1899 he worked for the optical company Secrétan. In 1901 he opens a mechanical workshop (42, rue Chanzy) together with his partner Demaison. In September 1902 they create the commercial company Mollier, Demaison & Duchez (198, boulevard Voltaire). Translated from wikipedia: 'In 1920 [Étienne] Étienne-Noël Mollier and René-Valéry Paillard create the E. Mollier et Cie, 'société en nom collectif' (commercial company), with a capital of 800 000 French francs. The factory and the offices are at 20, rue Félicien-David in Paris, le shop is situated at 26, avenue de la Grande-Armée. In Octobre 1923 Mollier buys the shares of his partner and transforms the company into the public limited company 'Établissements Mollier'. Among the new members of the board of directors are Gaston Jougla or Louis Joly, the son in law of Jules Carpentier. [...] In 1929 he hands over his company to Demaria-Lapierre which is then called 'Demaria-Lapierre et Mollier'.'
