Moore produced a design of metal binding frame for standard glass slides, consisting of a U-section metal channel which was pressed around the edges of the slide to hold the two glasses in place. The known examples appear to be made of a copper-coloured alloy, and are usually stamped 'J. MOORE / BIRMINGHAM / RD. NO. 144507' [the number probably being that of the British 'Registered Design'].
See for example the slide set Animals in Amsterdam Zoo Artis, Lucerna ID 3008893.
