Search for an image content tag
The Lucerna database uses subject ‘tags’ (keywords) to index the visual content of slides and other images. These can be combined to allow complex searches for images with specific content.
So far only a small minority of the images have been fully tagged, though about half have at least one tag and more are being added all the time.
The search options here find individual tags and/or the categories in which they are arranged, with links to images marked with that tag. For more complex image searching use the search for a slide page.
Hints for successful searching
- If you know exactly the tag you’re looking for, the quickest way to find its Lucerna record will be the Tag name drop-down list.
- Otherwise you can use the Tag category or Categorised list options to find and browse tags grouped by the subject areas they relate to.
- The Any part of tag option lets you find all tags containing a chosen word or group of characters in their name.
- If your search returns no results, check your search criteria – you may have mis-typed something or chosen an impossible combination.
