“Interesting Lecture at Exeter Museum
During recent winter seasons a number of lectures have been delivered by members of the staff and others at the Royal Albert Memorial College. That this educational work has been appreciated is attested by the increasing audience.
Last Saturday evening the large Lecture Hall was filled, when Mr F.R. Rowley, the Museum Curator, delivered his lecture on Some Egyptian Antiquities. It is difficult to exaggerate the thanks due from the community to Mr Rowley for the transformation he has worked at the Museum. [long summary of lecture content follows]
The lecture was assisted by a number of limelight slides, prepared by Mr Rowley and manipulated by Mr Short, whose devotion to this lecture series was suitably acknowledged on Saturday night.
”This lecture was postponed from its original scheduled date of 2 February 1907 because of the lecturer's illness.
