“[...] Last Saturday evening the large Lecture Hall was filled, when Mr F.R. Rowley, the Museum Curator, delivered his lecture on Some Egyptian Antiquities. It is difficult to exaggerate the thanks due from the community to Mr Rowley for the transformation he has worked at the Museum.
[Long summary of the lecture content]
The lecture was assisted by a number of limelight slides, prepared by Mr Rowley and manipulated by Mr Short, whose devotion to this lecture series was suitably acknowledged on Saturday night.
