“'A Week on Lundy Island,' by Dr W.N. Bolderston, and Messrs A.H. Rousham, and A.O. Rowden.
”“'A week on Lundy Island' was the title of a series of three interesting lantern lectures delivered to members of the University Field Club and Natural History Society, at Exeter on Saturday evening, by Dr W.N. Bolderston and Messrs A.H. Rousham and A.O. Rowden, who were members of a party that explored the Island last May. Dr Bolderston's paper contained a general description of the Island, Mr Rousham dealt with the bird life, and Mr Rowden with the entomology and botany. Mr W.T. Aviolet presided and operated the lantern.
[a summary of the three papers follows]
The lecturers were cordially thanked, on the motion of Mr F.R. Rowley, who described the entertainment as a 'star turn'.
”Rowden's slide collection, now in the RAMM Collection, includes a group of Lundy images dated to around 1926 that were probably shown on this occasion.
