“The Schoolroom of this parish was crowded on Monday night to hear a lecture, illustrated by limelight views. The Rector, the Rev. R. Prescot, presided. Mrs Pemberton, of Denton House, has taken great interest in the Branch in this parish. The collection, which amounted to ₤1 s. 3d., was given in aid of the Diocesan funds. ”
