“On the 8th the Vicar, Rev. J.H. Brown, gave a lantern story 'Which Side wins', to a fairly good audiance, and it was listened to with great attention, all joining with great spirit in the singing of the hymns thrown on the sheet. Two pledges were received durig the evening.”
