“Richmond - Vineyard Congregational Church - On Wednesday evening last at the above church a lantern lecture, entitled 'Through the Dales of Derbyshire' was delivered by the Rev. Percy Martin, B.A. There was a large audience. The lecture was prepared by Mr. Albert E. Gower, of Reigate, who also manipulated the lantern. Quartettes were sung at intervals. The proceeds were devoted to the church funds.”
