“Minster, near Sheerness - Bethel Congregational Sunday School - The annual soiree were held on Tuesday and Wednesday, Feb. 20th and 21st, the customary tea was provided at each meeting, and on Tuesday, a dissolving view entertainment given, descriptive of 'Walks in Galilee,' and other tales, the lecture being given by Pastor J. Grout and Mr. S. W. Hare. The Sheppey Union children rendered some fine choruses during the evening.”
