“Northfleet - Congregational Sunday School - A magic lantern entertainment took place on Monday, Jan. 23rd at the above place. Over 300 children were present, and greatly appreciated the pictures thrown on the screen. Mr. Mitchell ably manipulated the lantern and slides, whilst the superintendent (Rev. E. Bolton) read the interesting stories of 'Jessica's First Prayer', and 'Mothers Last Words'.”
